History Behind The Design
Bruce Lee's yellow and black jumpsuit from the movie "Game of Death" has become an iconic symbol of the martial artist and actor. The jumpsuit was designed by Lee himself and made by a Hong Kong tailor.
Lee's "Game of Death" was a film that he had been working on before his untimely death in 1973 at the age of 32. The film was never completed, but Lee had shot several fight scenes for it, including one that took place in a five-tier pagoda. In this scene, Lee wore the now-famous yellow and black jumpsuit.
After Lee's death, the film was pieced together using these previously filmed fight scenes and new footage shot by Lee's associates. The completed film was released in 1978, five years after Lee's death.
The jumpsuit itself has become a sought-after collectible among Bruce Lee fans and has been displayed in several museum exhibitions. In recent years, it has also been used as inspiration for various fashion and pop culture items, such as t-shirts and sneakers.
In the spirit of modern martial arts, we are inspired and train to continue and carry on the philosophy continuous adaptability in the face of strong adversity and opposition.
